Orlando has long been known as the theme park capital of the world, but a major new addition is about to raise the bar even higher. Universal Orlando Resort is preparing to open Epic Universe, its most ambitious and technologically advanced theme park to date.
What Is Epic Universe?
Epic Universe will become Universal Orlando’s largest and most ambitious theme park, introducing entirely new lands, rides and entertainment experiences. The park is expected to transform the Orlando theme park landscape, giving visitors even more reasons to extend their holiday stay.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Expansion
Perhaps the most anticipated addition, the Harry Potter expansion at Epic Universe takes visitors to the British Ministry of Magic and the magical streets of Paris from the Fantastic Beasts films. Visitors can expect incredibly detailed environments, magical creatures, themed restaurants, and one of the most technologically advanced Harry Potter rides Universal has ever built.
How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk
Families with younger children will love the How to Train Your Dragon themed land, inspired by the hugely popular DreamWorks film series. Visitors will enter the Viking village of Berk, where dragons soar above the skyline. The area will include family-friendly roller coasters, interactive play areas, and live shows.
